Dublin Central PBPA

The People Before Profit Alliance is a new alliance of community activists, grass-roots campaigners, trade unionists and socialists. The Alliance includes organisations such as the Socialist Workers Party & the Community and Workers Action Group. We are organised across Dublin and elsewhere in the country.

We linked up with other independent and left candidates to provide a real alternative in the last general election.

People Before Profit stands for:

•Real Local Democracy
•Protect our Environment
•Keep Ireland out of Bush’s War

Locally in Dublin Central, the People Before Profit Alliance are campaigning around issues such as:

• Housing, in particular the issue of the collapse of the PPP projects in Dominick St and O’Devaney Gardens
• Developer Greed: Protests over the destruction of Old Methodist Church site on Jones Road
• Budget Cuts, which have hit those most vunerable in our society
